Powerful motor… the important bit to look out for! Our high speed motors rotate at 2600 revolutions per minute compared to 1400 rpm on most other disposers. This means that food waste is disposed more quickly, reducing the amount of water and electricity used in operation. In addition, because of this faster speed of motor the risk of any jam occuring is reduced. All Panda Cub units have a ½ hp motor, ideal for couples, apartment dwellers or small families.
We appreciate that space under the sink is at a premium, which is why the Panda Cub, although powerful with a ½ hp motor, has been designed to be as compact as possible. The lightweight design makes installation simple and places less strain on sinks compared to other units in the marketplace. Superb grinding … the essential bit! The Panda Cub has high quality stainless steel impellors and a high quality stainless steel grind ring to enable it to dispose of your food waste, including fibrous items such as corncobs, celery and onion skins for example, quickly and efficiently.
