Simply turn on the cold water
tap, and then switch on the machine. Now feed in the waste
food through the flaps of the splashguard. As the waste enters
the grinding chamber it hits the stainless steel disc. There
are no blades or knives inside. Centrifugal force then sends
the waste outwards, and it is ground into small particles
by the combination of the impellers on the disc, and the
stainless steel teeth in the grinding chamber. When the
particles are
small enough they pass through special drainage holes in
the disc and are then flushed away. |
Panda units have particularly small drainage holes, which
ensure that the pieces that pass through are tiny. This means
that blockages in pipes are reduced to an absolute minimum.
The whole process only takes a matter of seconds.
